A Quick Laugh

Thought I'd share this as it gave me a brief moment of amusement this morning. It has it all, ridiculous loopholes in US law, fetuses being smuggled into the country from Cuban "babalao" for use in a Santeria rite and jokes at the TSA's expense. Just what I needed on a Wednesday morning!

Quick Note For Buyers

Due to the death of my eldest Pit Bull this past weekend and my having to give a large amount of time to his surviving brother who has been terribly depressed, I've been pushed back a bit in my work. I apologize to those who've ordered Tables and/ or Talismans for the delay, and will be working on nothing but those items this weekend so that consecrations can be completed in the coming week.

Venus Talismans Finally Near Completion & Other Updates

Quick update for those who've ordered Talismans of Venus. I will be finishing up this evening and consecrating the finished products shortly thereafter, in the 3rd and 4th hours of Venus. This evening promises to be a very advantageous night for this work, as the Jupiter / Venus Conjunction which has been visible this week and reached its peak last evening is still very strong, and this is a condition I find extremely useful for this purpose. This weekend I will be beginning work on 2 custom designed Tables of Practice on behalf of some of the readers here who have contacted me for these items.

Thank you to all those who ordered these, and I am sure you wont be disappointed. There remains one available if anyone else would like to get in on this.

On another note, Nephilim Press and I are presently at work designing the Fine Editions of my forthcoming book. If all goes as we expect it to and the binder is able to bring forth this work in the manner I've envisioned, it will be a thing of beauty to be sure. As with Nephilim's first release, E.A. Koetting's Book of Azazel, we will be releasing several hundred hardcovers as well as a few dozen of these fine editions, so stay tuned for more info.

When I first began this blog some time ago, one of the first posts I wrote included the basic outline of a ritual with which I have enjoyed a good deal of success. Following my introduction of that rite I shared further pieces of the puzzle that constitutes the corpus from which it was drawn in my contributions to Hadean's Conjure Codex as well as another anthology, and here on my blog. After each of these articles were published, I received a plethora of email reporting the successes readers had experienced in experimentation with the workings as I provided them, and asking when I would be releasing the "full volume on this strain of magick" I had promised in Conjure Codex.

Today, nearly two years after my first public indication that a full length work on this system of magick was in the pipeline, I am pleased to report that it nears completion.

On behalf of myself and the publisher with whom I have partnered on this project, Nephilim Press, I am proud to announce

This work will manifest in the form of a Grimoire in the truest sense of the word, and remains faithful to the original Magick of the period between 100BCE and the 11th Century. The Magickal system esposed by our ancient predecessors of this period was both fully developed and comprehensive; so vast was this system that the widely known PGM was "but a small portion of the whole". The present work, to which I have given the title "The Book of Abrasax, A Grimoire of The Hidden Gods" represents an all inclusive and fully developed system of Magick in and of itself, offering instruction for several dozen complete rites, restored from fragmented and incomplete sources, carefully reassembled as pieces of a puzzle and faithful to their original forms, separated by intent of the working. With a few exceptions, the rites you will find herein have never been published in any Magickal text.

Stay tuned here and on the Nephilim website and Facebook page for further details, but expect to see this book in 2012.
